Our Bucks

TAZ

His registered name is Bear Creek BC X342 Taz, but we just call him Taz.  He has one of the best dispositions on the place.  He was born Christmas Eve of 2008 and he has a unique quality here at our ranch, he's broke to lead.  TazHe is double registered in both the IBGA & ABGA.  His sire is Bear Creek Boers RA Mr Texas Gunner who is a son of the Ennobled Show Me Boers Gun Runner and a grandson of the Ennobled RRD Remfire and his dam is Bear Creek BC T108 a maternal granddaughter of the Ennobled DSM Richard.  Taz also has the Ennobled Outback Boers Outplay and the Ennobled RA Molly  in the top side of his pedigree.  Altogether, 5 Ennoblements in his family tree and he shows it. He haired in for winter before we got this picture taken, but he is long and square, has good hard feet that you won't have to trim every month and has a good butt.  With the goodly amount of color he has in his pedigree, you can expect to see some colored kids out of him if you've got any color in your nannies' pedigrees.  If you want to raise some purple ribbon wether kids, seriously consider making him a part of your breeding program.  You can lease him for 45 days for $400 or own him outright for $750. SOLD, Thanks to Chris & Michelle Schiller & Family, Scribner, NE.

Wattswood Farms Bam Bam (Mr Bee)

Wattswood Farms Bam Bam (Mr Bee)

We purchased Mr Bee in Missouri in late November 2011 and got him home in time to breed our main bunch of nannies. He was born August 29, 2008 at Rogersville, Missouri. His sire is Luch Wide Track and his dam is Wattswood Farms 6144. Doris says that Bam Bam is not an appropriate name for a herd sire, so he immediately became, "Mr Bee" when he arrived home. He looks and acts so much like old Fudge that it is unreal. He is broke to lead which is a rarity at our place. He has a golden disposition and is a quiet, easy breeder who gets all of his girls taken care of. He has some notable Ennobled ancestors including Gauge, Mountain Man, EGGSecutive, Turtlerock Drindle, HFB 112, Agnew's Bo-Howdy, DER Bo's Bounty and EGGSpense Account. He has produced us a heavy concentration of reds & red & white paints and they all have a lot of width between their front legs and an exceptionally good butt. We hope we can keep all his nanny kids to breed to a son of Fudge's that we have "re-attained", Uphoff's Gilbert.

Mr Bee's billy kids average weaning weight in 2012 was 59.75#

Mr Bee's nanny kids average weaning weight in 2012 was 44,8#

Little Tex

Little TexLittle Tex was born April 11, 2008, a triplet.  He is by Texas Warrior, and out of Texas Bernadette.  Bernadette came directly off of Troy Powell's ranch, an own daughter of Troy's Kalihari.  Her dam was a double bred Mzuri nanny, so Little Tex comes by his long muscle & good butt honestly.  Bernadette  has a couple of notable offspring, Uphoff's Elvis, that we sold to Jay Pfaltzgraff over in Iowa and Uphoff's Elvira, his litter mate, that we sold to Carolyn Buckner out in Wyoming.  We're really liking Little Tex's kids.  They hit the ground "agrowin".  Little Tex is For Sale or Lease.  You can lease him for 45 days for $400 or own him outright for $750. SOLD

Zeus

England Ranch GS Zeus

ZeusWe purchased Zeus at the 4S Goat Expo from George & Suzanne England, Premier Savanna breeders from Midland, SD. Zeus is a fullblood Savanna, born May 18, 2011, a twin and weighed in at 74# on September 30 at Lexington after a 200+ mile haul. He was raised on pasture and never had anything but milk and grass to eat, no creep feed. We'll be incorporating him into our crossbred program, using him primarily on our Boer/Nubian does to create composite billy goats for our commercial meat goat customers. Zeus was sired by Crane Creek CCS 00337 Buck and out of a John & Janice Scott nanny Scott's Yolanda who is a Tazish daughter.

CRR Texas Warrior

We purchased this buck from Coni Ross, Blanco, TX in 2006. He was born January 1, 2006, a son Of CONI Warrior who was sired by CONI Mace. CONI Warrior is now Ennobled. Tex's maternal grandfather is also Mace which makes him double bred Mace.  Mace was sired by FSE 132 a Highlander 104(ennobled) son.  Mace's dam was CONI M33, the doe that won the State Fair Of Texas in 2001 against 300 does.   Coni says all her best does are daughters of Mace.  Deceased July 3, 2012.
