We usually keep several big 100-150# wethers on hand.
These can be purchased live and we will deliver them to our USDA inspected custom processing plant here in Elwood for you free of charge.
You can have them processed to your specifications and pick up the meat when it is ready in just a few days.
They range in price from $125 to $175 per head depending on their weight. They will yield about 45% bone in meat. Processing runs about $50 per head plus cutting and wrapping.

The chops and leg steaks are packaged 2 per package and are approximately 1" thick.
The packages of leg steaks are large enough to serve 4 people.
The bratwurst are approximately 1" in diameter and range from 1# to 1.24# per package.
OUR CHEVON IS FROM 150-180# BOER WETHERS THAT ARE MOSTLY FORAGE FED. THEY HAVE HAD VERY LIMITED GRAIN IN THEIR RATION. THE ONLY MEDICATIONS THEY HAD IS WORMER. THEY ARE FROZEN AND PACKAGED IN 1-3# PACKAGES. ALL OUR MEAT WAS PROCESSED IN A USDA INSPECTED PLANT, SO YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT YOU ARE BUYING ONLY TOP QUALITY CHEVON.
